Adult Sunday School Classes
Starting on Sunday, April 15th, Annie Lathom will be leading our Adult Sunday School class in a study of the Presbyterian Church’s Book of Confessions. We will also explore the Affirmations of Faith and their importance. This series of classes will continue through May 20th. Please join us at 9:45 AM.
April 15 - Nicene creed and the Confession Nature of the Church
April 22 – The Scot’s Confession & Heidelberg Catechism
April 29 – The Second Helvetic Confession & the Westminster Confession of Faith
May 6 – The Longer Cathechism & The Theological Declaration of Barmen
May 13 – The Confession of 1967 & a Brief Statement of Faith
May 20 – Wrapup and Review
The focus of the class wil be to
Discuss the Affirmations of Faith that we say every Sunday in worship
To understand where the beliefs of the PC(USA) came from;
to understand that which we are affirming every Sunday and maybe whether or not we agree with it.
We will learn the beliefs of the PCUSA by looking at different creeds recorded in the PCUSA Book of Confessions.
Christian Education for Youth
Sunday School classes are available for all ages from preschool through high school. Childcare for those children younger than preschool is available. Sunday School runs from September through early June and begins at 9:45 am.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is held during the summer.
