The Lighthouse Foundation
“The mission of The Lighthouse Foundation is encouraging others to find hope in Christ while meeting their immediate needs and empowering them towards self-sufficiency.” 

We support them by helping to stock the shelves of their food pantry. We have established collection boxes both inside and outside our entry doors to collect non-perishable food items and paper products. The outdoor collection box is weatherproof and allows our neighboring communities to join us in this effort.

Mars Home for Youth
MHY has evolved over its 130-year history to meet the changing needs of children and families in crisis, but has always remained true to its commitment to support youth who deserve every opportunity at a better life.
We support MHY annually with our “Undie Sunday” collection in March and our “Christmas in July” collection.

Hosanna Industries, Inc.
“When every family lives in dignity, every roof is tight, and every furnace burns safely; when no one goes to sleep cold or hungry or scared; when every child has a yard and a kitchen and a bed- then we’ll put down our hammers and demonstrate our faith in some other way. Until then, the green trucks are heading down the road to the next project.” 

Cross Roads supports Hosanna financially and at times, by volunteering at local work sites.

Blessings Box
In 2020, our nation was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to help those in our community who might find themselves in need, one of our church members built a pantry that could be put up on our church grounds. The Blessings Box receives donations from anyone and everyone, while being present 24/7 for all who may have need of it. We keep non-perishables, toiletries, canned goods, diapers, wipes, and other items stocked as much as we can. We've been able to be a blessing to others through this box, and for that, we are grateful.

P.R.I.S.M.
PRISM is a ministry that exists to help those young adults who are moving to Pittsburgh for educational purposes (college and graduate studies) to get connected to one another, to local ministries and churches, and to learn more about American culture. The organization helps to provide everything from friendship to English conversational skills to furnishing apartments and dorm rooms.
Cross Roads has provided financial resources to this ministry, as well as furniture and hands-on support.
